What if God Changed?

Last week I was listening to a CD while on my way to church and in introducing the upcoming song, the artist asked : "What if God Changed His Mind?" AS I thought of that and what Latoya said in her blog, I have to think of that Question: What if God changed his mind and not send the sun out, or give us Oxygen, or give us the opportunity for everlasting life. What if? Amazing thought isn't it?

Give your thoughts

Pastorakm,
I was thinking about what if God changed His mind. It made my heart drop. I could not imagine him changing His mind.To think that he did not love us is devastating. I am glad He LOVE US so much. Even after writting this. I still hear that thought "What if God Changed His Mind?"

Pastorakm,
My Goodness,if God changed his mind then our only hope, which is in His unchanging commitment to saving us and providing for us will turn to dust. We would be as mad men without one clue as to how to rest in any assurance that our todays and tomorrows are taken care of. Just the thought of that, knowing that my survival depends on God is sobering and quite disturbing.

BUTTT...Thank God for His unfailing love and His never changing word. He is the same always and in that my hope is secured and anchored.

My first vist to the Calvary Seventh Day Adventist Church in Bridgeport, Connecticut has left an indelible mark in my memory.

The praise and worship ,divine service and bible class sessions has greatly enhanced and strengthened me on my spiritual journey from Calvary to ETERNITY.

Pastor ,thank you for being a conduit through which god can send his on -time messages to his saints in these last days. Your discourse on love was very enlightening but what struck a stronger chord in me was your discourse on ,'What if God changes his mind.? I have often meditated on this thought , I have often found myself lingering at situations in the bible when god repented and changed his planned course of actions towards the children of Israel. I meditated on his passionate plea ,"If only my people could hear my voice, turn from their wicked ways ...then I will hear....."

What if...god changes his mind about end time prophecies?

But..thank you for allowing God to use you as a conduit and speak his message of assurance especially to my questions. Indeed ..your assurance of God's love and the confident assurances of his promise has enlightened my own spiritual journey and brought me to a higher level of appreciation and a deeper level of assurance of the One and only true god whose words never returns void.
