Experiences

Have you ever wonder how you would change your life? At one time or another we must have all thought this. Experiences make us who we are. Even when we wish we could change things. God allows us to go through different situations. The experiences we have help us, but more important they help us to bless others. Take your life experiences and turn them into a blessing.

True Peace

Ps. 55:22 Cast your Burden on the Lord, and He Shall Sustain you:He shall never permit the righteous to be moved.

There are many place in this word we may look to find comfort. but true peace can only come from the Lord.There is no situation that he can not handle. no problem to big or small.So when we need to get the true peace tell God about it and know He was already on the job working it out.

Time

Many times we feel that we have all the time in the world. What do we do with our time? Some spend countless hours working, some spend their time worrying, sleeping, reading and so on.... But the Question is asked do we find time to spend it with God?

Looking at what is going on around us how could we not. For most of us our relationship with Christ and believing that he controls all, gives us comfort when we see everything around us starts to fall apart. The one thing about things falling apart is that we have the hope of a brighter more glorious day.

So why not spend time with the one who can make everything all right.

Prayer

The bible say that "the Prayer of the righteous availeth much." Prayer is often taken for granted. If we only realize the amount of power that God give us when we pray, our loads would be lighter. If you are worrying and you can't take it to the cross then you should not be worrying about the problem. Earth has no sorrow that heaven can not heal. So take up your cross and bring it to Calvary where Jesus can bring it to the father.

I finished my women's devotional book. Wow !

I just want to share something from it.

"We have no Idea what great things God wants to do through us if we would just step out in faith when He asks us to. That's why He lets us go through some difficult times. Times when we feel weak and vulnerable. He allows certain things to happen so that we will turn to Him and give Him our full attention. It's in those times, when we are forced to pray in greater faith, that our faith grows stronger." (Stormie Omartian, Power of a Praying Woman p.232)

This week has been a good week. I have been thinking about what God has brought me through in the past. I don't think that I could have done it on my own. I have learned to live a life of praise. When things don't go the way I plan or I find stubbling block along my path. I give Him praise. you see the Bible say that, we should praise the lord at all times. I give Him total Praise.

What is something you praise God for?

Street Lights

Yesterday I was driving. There were street lights along the road lighting the way. Then I came to a street where the street lights were out. As I drove down that road I could see that at the end of the street there was one street light on, it covered the stop sign. Reflecting back on that drive it reminded me that sometimes in our lives the path is not always as lit as we expect. But when we do see the light we need to stop and be still. Ready to listen. Christ never leads us astray. He is always lighting the path guiding us in the right way.

Isaiah 42:16 (NIV)
I will lead the blind by ways they have not known, along unfamiliar paths I will guide them; I will turn the darkness into light before them and make the rough places smooth. These are the things I will do; I will not forsake them.
